About NameStylish
NameStylish.in is a free, mobile-first Unicode name style generator built and maintained in India. You type a normal name and the site instantly shows hundreds of styled versions β bold, italic, cursive, script, double-struck, small caps and symbol-decorated β that you can copy with one tap and paste into Instagram, Facebook, WhatsApp, Snapchat, Free Fire, BGMI or PUBG.
Who runs this site
NameStylish is an independent one-person project started in 2024 by Uttam Solanki, a web developer from India. There is no company, no investor and no content farm behind it β every category page, guide and FAQ on this site is written and edited by hand, and the generator itself is custom-built rather than licensed from a third-party script. If something is wrong or missing, the same person who wrote it reads your email: hello@namestylish.in.
Why we built it
Most "fancy text" sites are slow, covered in pop-ups, and dump one long unlabelled list of styles at you. Worse, many of them output characters that render as empty boxes on Android phones or get rejected by games like Free Fire. We wanted a tool that is fast on a βΉ8,000 Android phone, organises styles by where you will actually use them, tells you clearly which characters an app will accept, and never asks you to sign up.
How the generator works
Unicode β the global text standard β contains complete alternate alphabets: mathematical bold, mathematical italic, script, fraktur, double-struck, monospace, circled, squared, small caps, fullwidth and more. Our engine maps each letter of your name to its counterpart in those blocks and then, for decorative categories, wraps the result in symbols. Because the output is plain text and not an image, it survives copy-paste into almost any app, keyboard or game profile.
Everything runs inside your browser. Your name is never uploaded, logged or stored on a server β there is no server-side processing at all.
How we write our guides
- Every category page is written specifically for that platform β Free Fire covers rename cards and character rules, Instagram covers display-name vs username limits, WhatsApp covers the 25-character profile-name cap.
- Styles are tested on real devices (Android Chrome, iOS Safari, desktop) before they ship, so you get fewer "tofu" boxes and broken glyphs.
- When a platform changes its rules, we update the affected page and refresh the "last updated" date on it rather than leaving stale advice online.
- We do not copy text from other generator sites, and we do not auto-generate article text in bulk.

How this site is funded
NameStylish is free for everyone and is supported by display advertising. Ads, when enabled, are kept out of the way of the tool itself β we do not place them between a style and its copy button, and we do not use pop-ups or interstitials.
